Pastor Euthemnia Avery, Jr.  knew at the age of 10 that he would become a preacher.  He accepted the call to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ in 1983 and was ordained in 1984.  He believes that salvation is God’s greatest expression of His divine love for all people. Therefore, his goal in life is to share the Word of God and His unlimited love and saving grace that lead people into the presence of God.  


Pastor Avery is a 1972 graduate of David T. Howard High School in Atlanta.  He attended Blanton Business College for Accounting.  He later enlisted in the U.S. Navy for (4) years and worked as a Radioman in the Communications Department and was chosen to play for the U.S. Navy Basketball Team until he was Honorably Discharged in 1978.  He later worked for over 20 years as a Mechanical Contractor for Commercial Air Condition and the Sheet Metal Industry.


Pastor Avery was employed at Green Pastures Christian Ministries, Inc. as an Assistant Pastor for (17) years.  He served as a Deacon, an Elder, the Athletic Director, Scout Master and was a member of the Presbytery Board, Advisory Board, Church Development Team (Overseer for the construction of many projects including the balcony and gymnasium), High School Bible Teacher and Marriage Class Teacher, and Sound Team Technician. He faithfully served on the Outreach Ministry at the Atlanta Union Mission for several years. He was also trained to be a Chaplain for DeKalb County.


Pastor Avery is a member of the Refreshing Place Ministries, Inc. and is serving as Assistant Pastor.  He is a member of the Board of Directors and the Church Development Team.  Currently, he is enrolled in Charis Bible School in Atlanta.   As a Pastor, he believes that he has been called to prepare God’s people for the Kingdom of God.  Therefore, he must continue to grow in the knowledge and revelation of the Word of God through further pursuit of Biblical Studies.


Pastor Avery is celebrating (35) years of marriage to Pastor Diane Avery.  They have co-labored in ministry for over thirty years and were the Founders of Trinity Worship Center International, Inc.  in 2002 until 2007.   God has blessed their union with a son, Euthemnia Enoch Avery, III and Chantelle Beauge who both are ministry gifts to the Body of Christ along with their spouses, Gregory and Slyrainna.  They are the proud grandparents of Gabriella Diane, Alexander Gregory and Emilee Beauge.
