OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH

We believe that the entire Bible, both the Old and New Testaments, is inspired by God. It is infallible and void of error and is the authority on which we base our faith, conduct and doctrine.

We believe in one God who eternally exists in three distinct persons; the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.  We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who came to earth as Savior of the world.

We believe that Jesus was born of virgin birth, lived a sinless life, died on the cross a sacrificial and substitution death and shed His blood for the sins of all mankind.

We believe that salvation; the new birth or being born again is the gift of God by grace alone and is received by placing personal faith in what the LORD Jesus Christ did for us on the cross. We believe Jesus was resurrected from the dead, ascended into heaven, and is coming again.

We believe the Holy Spirit is the Promise of the Father, the Comforter who indwells and places every believer in the Body of Christ, bestows spiritual gifts upon the Church and convicts the world of sin. Additionally, we believe the infilling of the Holy Spirit is a definite endowment of power for service.  We believe in speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives utterance and is subsequent expectation after salvation.

We believe water baptism is a symbol of the cleansing power of the blood of Jesus Christ and a testimony to our faith in Him.

We believe in the regular taking of holy Communion as an act of celebration remembering what the Lord has done for us in the remission of sins, and the provision of healing in the body and mind by the stripes placed on His body.

We believe mankind was created in the image of God, and fell through disobedience, resulting in the entire human race succumbing to a sinful nature.

We believe that every believer should be in a growing relationship with Jesus by obeying God’s Word, believing in the finished work of Christ on their behalf, yielding to the Holy Spirit and conforming to the image of Christ.
